WayCraft

Welcome to Waycraft – a practice dedicated to seeking meaning in the middle spaces we encounter when our lives change. And they always do.
My name is Lori Walsh, and I have spent over two decades helping adults of all ages navigate the transitions that inevitably arise with births, deaths, identity & relationship changes, and more.
I work with folks who aspire to resilience through flexibility and who want to weave the strands of their experiences into a way forward.
Private Sessions
One question at a time.

A way forward is crafted by questions…
starting with who I am and why I do this work. I am not a therapist, and the work I do with folks is not therapy. I am more like a transition coach – a listener, an educator and an advocate. I work alongside you as we ask excellent questions and seek artful answers regarding life’s inevitable challenges. I help people like you see meaning in the middle spaces. It takes courage, effort, and skill to find a practical and peaceful way through life’s shifts. Each loss, each change in role, each shift in identity asks us to be vulnerable and strong at the exact same time, and that is not easy! My role is to ensure you have an ally alongside you as you encounter thresholds and to help you approach struggles as pilgrimages.
Reflections as Resources
Here you can find reflections on pursuits that matter and concerns that impact us all. Think of it as a toolbox of ideas.

What folks have to say:
Cad é an scéal?
When all the others were away at Mass I was all hers as we peeled potatoes. They broke the silence, let fall one by one Like solder weeping off the soldering iron:

Friend One
How I love them
Tá tú anseo.
Cold comforts set between us, things to share Gleaming in a bucket of clean water. And again let fall. Little pleasant splashes From each other’s work would bring us to our senses. So while the parish priest at her bedside

Friend Two
How I know them
Ag cur báisti.
Went hammer and tongs at the prayers for the dying And some were responding and some were crying I remembered her head bent towards my head, Her breath in mine, our fluent dipping knives Never closer the whole rest of our lives.

Friend Three
Why they are awesome
